Jungle is built around a small set of core concepts. Understanding them will help you get the most out of the platform and its API.

• Capabilities — tags on objects such as locations and products that tell Jungle what they are allowed to do: pick, pack, ship, store, and more.
• Barcodes — almost everything in Jungle can be barcoded and scanned, from products and locations to users and printers.
• External IDs (XIDs) — reference Jungle objects using your own identifiers from other systems.
